Jim Mullen of the Truckload Carriers Association Set to Speak at CVTA's 2026 Spring Conference

Jim Mullen, incoming President of the Truckload Carriers Association, will join CVTA’s Spring Conference this May. His background spans federal regulation, legal leadership, and private-sector operations, including service as Acting Administrator and Chief Counsel at the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, where he helped guide national safety and enforcement priorities.

Mullen’s career reflects a broad view of the trucking industry, with experience across carrier operations, emerging technology, and policy development. Most recently, he led the Clean Freight Coalition, engaging stakeholders on emissions and regulatory policy issues.

His addition to the Spring Conference program reflects a high caliber of leadership and perspective represented at this year’s event as CVTA brings together stakeholders from across the commercial driver training and motor carrier industries.
