The benefits of a CVTA membership are far-reaching and bit difficult to describe. A list of these benefits and the different types of membership is listed below, but actually capturing the "meaning" of being a CVTA member is difficult to put into words. How can one describe the benefits of a church choir singing? or of friends meeting at a pub? If your church tells you to sing a solo - you sing, but you do it knowing you've got many people right behind you. If you're friends tell you to meet them at a pub - you meet them, and that day is etched in your memory for years to come. The point of both examples, however, is not about getting a particular thing done; its about empowerment. Networking with other owners and managers of truck driver training sites naturally lends a "sense of community", but it also gives peace of mind. When your state decides to change CDL requirements, you'll know with just whom to speak. When a trucking school in your area is not ethical in its graduating practices, you'll have a large source of information at your fingertips on how to handle the situation. When you need to market the benefits of your training program, not only will you have an online directory, but also a community of members who've already been down that road, allowing you to make more informed decisions and have more security in making those decisions. And speaking of informative decisions, CVTA members have access to a wealth of tools like:
The CVTA staff is constantly working on items of benefit to its members, and they communicate information quickly and efficiently. So, new tools are always being added. Ready to become a member?
